.Noriko Rogers started her piano studies at the age of four in Japan. 

After moving back to the U.S., Noriko became a pupil of David Grice in Texas and joined the Texas Conservatory of Young Artists (TCYA). She was a winner of The McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra Young Artist Competition Piano Category, Texas Music Teachers Association Young Artist Performance Competition Solo Category, The Dallas Symphonic Festival Sonata Category to name a few. Noriko later earned a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Performance degree with distinction and Performance Diploma in Piano from The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto with a scholarship under the tutelage of Marc Durand and Andrew Markow. Throughout her career in music, Noriko has had the privilege of performing in masterclasses for prestigious artists, such as André Laplante, Jim Anagnoson, Cécile Ousset and Leon Fleisher.

Following her relocation to Queenstown, Noriko has recently returned to the world of music after working as a Japanese ⇆ English interpreter and translator for almost twenty years in the U.S., Canada and Japan.
